Liquid Music teaser clip - Christian Fennesz & Jon Wozencroft

Alright, give me a minute to go through the laundry list of details concerning Liquid Music (many of which I gathered from Fennesz’ own website and Exclaim, to give proper credit). Christian Fennesz, one of the artists I love yet somehow don’t listen to frequently, is releasing a live album/movie with Jon Wozencroft. It’s called Liquid Music, and it is a 32-minute film focusing mostly on images of water. It was filmed between 1995 and 2001 and was debuted in 2001 during the Touch tour in that final year; it is now being released for the first time on a USB flash drive. I encourage following the link to Fennesz’ website - the project is quite interesting. 

In related news, the super-trio Fenn O’Berg (Fennesz, Jim O’Rourke, and Peter Rehberg) will be releasing their new album In Hell on April 10th through Rehberg’s own Editions Mego. I’m writing that one down, because I defnitely do not want to miss it. [link]
