“Intro (ft. Zola Jesus)” - M83

I find it hard to describe a moment like this, when a track I’ve been shamelessly coveting finally sees light. It falls somewhere between finding out an essay is one thousand characters, not words, and going to Disneyland. At least, that’s what I would guess, having never been to Disneyland myself. I hear it’s great though. Anyways, “Intro” (streaming on Abeano) carries the promise of great things to come, and is exactly what one would expect from the introduction to a monstrous M83 double album. Hurry Up, We’re Dreaming (Mute, October 18th) and Conatus (Sacred Bones, October 4th) are easily two of the most promising albums of the year.
