Yellow Hall" - Pygmy Lush

I meant to post this ages ago, but it somehow got lost in the shuffle that is life. Pygmy Lush’s roots were in hardcore, as they are former members of outfits like Pg. 99 and City of Caterpillar, but they have evolved into a band that creates beautiful folk music with a nice rustic twang. They released their most recent full-length, Old Friends, earlier this month on Lovitt Records. “Yellow Hall” is the opening track, and besides being an exceptional song, it is also a good litmus test for whether one would enjoy the rest of the album.
