AraabMuzik has announced Instrumental University for release on January 31st, an album compiling a number of his instrumental works that have been used by such artists as Raekwon, 50 Cent, Lloyd Banks, Fabolous, and many more [link]. This is in addition to his recent announcement that he was in the studio with A$AP ROCKY [link].

Gift of Gab has announced Next Logical Progression (Quannum Projects, March 27) and released single “Protocol” for free. [link]

As if scoring We Bought a Zoo wasn’t incredible enough, Jónsi has already agreed to score Cameron Crowe’s next film, an as-yet-unnamed comedy. Simply put, all new Jónsi comes with a guarantee of being some of the most emotional, beautiful music you’ll here. [link]

Oackland quartet Kapowski will be releasing their debut Boy Detective, recorded by Eli Crews (tUnE-yArDs, Deerhoof), on February 1st. You can hear their song “Section 8” now. [link]
