“Roman Summer” - Bear Cavalry 

If you asked me, I’d tell you that Skrillex’s only contribution to society was granting tumblr ammunition to make a blog with the name “Girls That Look Like Skrillex.” No, I promise you that it really exists. [link] Now that we’ve wiped my opinion of Skrillex aside, apparently he’s been using the rather endearing sound of Bear Cavalry in his material, and I’m shattered to my core about the thought that I’ve finally agreed with his taste in something. The English boys of Bear Cavalry can’t help attracting Skrillex with their bubbly melodies, and given the fair amount of falsetto and noodley guitars that originally made me so fond of sound-similar artists This Town Needs Guns and labelmates Meet Me In St. Louis, I’m convinced Skrillex may actually have his hand in promoting something pleasing for once.
