“Heart” - Blood Diamonds
This needs to be talked about and discussed. What the fuck is this, besides the zeitgeist of everything indie the past two years? Tropicalia? R&B? Pop Music? This was possible? It combines a vocal hook to a beat “Far Nearer” couldn’t touch with the attitude of the Tough Alliance. Diamonds (Max Tucker) has been around for about a year now, but he’s already worked with Das Racist and expect an EP from the Pop Manifesto out soon.
In the meantime, put him on your list of bands to watch.
